Leak Sealing is the process of sealing leaking pressure plant while it is online, under pressure and temperature.

Leak sealing provides our clients with a means of eliminating leaks whilst maintaining plant productivity.

This cost-effective solution reduces the damaging effects on plant and the surrounding environment (such as; product emissions, noise levels, plant hazards, pipe damage and erosion) while saving our clients time and money in the process.

Leak sealing can be undertaken on leaking:

  • Flanges
  • Exchangers
  • Pumps
  • Valves
  • Pipework

Leak sealing utilises specialist compounds and a mechanical retaining device to effect a seal. The process combines stringent procedures and risk assessments with experienced trained personnel and specialist equipment to ensure a safe process and an effective seal.

Leak Sealing is a temporary fix to get the plant through to the next scheduled shutdown when the item is repaired or replaced. Clamps are designed to ASME VIII or AS1210 design codes and manufactured at BLJ In-Situ Solutions Capalaba (Brisbane) workshop.

BLJ In-situ Solutions is certified and registered by TQCS International Pty Ltd to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems standard. All work undertaken by BLJ In-situ Solutions is executed in accordance with its Quality Management System processes.
