Bolt Torquing
Bolt torquing is the process of applying a turning or twisting force (torque) to the nut on flanges or joints, to stretch the stud thereby retaining a load. Bolt torque tools come in many shapes and sizes and can be manual, hydraulic or pneumatic.
Torquing is not as accurate as bolt tensioning, however shines in various applications.
